U.S. Marines confront fake military veteran at funeral in West Palm Beach

A man impersonating a military veteran at a funeral in West Palm Beach, Florida got busted by two actual U.S. Marines.

The Marines noticed that the imposter's uniform had a mix of mismatched ribbons and medals and decided to confront him while capturing it all on cellphone video. After the funeral service, the suspected man identified himself as a 'sergeant major.'  One of the Marines quizzes him on his service background and he grows increasingly uncomfortable with the questions.

Throughout the interrogation, the man not only calls himself a 'sergeant major', but a military police officer and a special forces operator.  That's when the two Marines call him out and things get heated.

"You know that’s called false valor? It is a federal crime for you to be wearing that uniform.'

‘No it’s not,’ the man replies. ‘You can get out my face right now… because I’m a military officer as well.’

The suspected imposter finally decides to take off as the Marines continue to film.
