The appearance of a male Disneyland employee, portraying a ‘Fairy Godmother’s apprentice’ and wearing a blue and purple dress, has sparked controversy and triggered calls for a boycott of the popular entertainment resort.

A video capturing the worker’s interaction with a young girl at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Anaheim, California, has gone viral. The employee, who sports a mustache, warmly welcomes the girl while donning the unconventional outfit.

The footage was shared by Kournti Farber, a mother of three, who was documenting her family’s visit to Disneyland. Farber commended the staff for providing her daughter with a truly memorable experience.

However, critics have expressed their dissatisfaction with Disney, arguing that allowing a male employee to wear a costume dress is inappropriate. These individuals believe that the company’s efforts to be more inclusive and progressive in recent years have crossed a line, leading to what they perceive as “woke changes” that have upset certain fans.
