A 38-year-old Pennsylvania woman was killed after she was attacked while feeding her neighbor’s Great Danes.
Authorities in Perry County say Kristin Potter went to the house with her son to feed the dogs while the neighbor was away.
But the dogs began to attack Potter, mauling her while the son ran across the street to call 911.
Animal control arrived and tranquilized the dogs, but Potter died from her injuries. Both dogs were later euthanized.
Potter’s fiance speculates that the dogs had been fighting and may have turned on Potter when she tried to intervene.
