With the widespread cases of mass shoplifting and looting, many retail stores have taken to locking up their most expensive items ... and in Florida, that evidently includes meats at Walmart.

A Florida Walmart shopper found steaks wrapped in anti-theft steel wiring and shot a video documenting the experience. At this point, it is not clear if these new “security devices” are being rolled out nationwide or just in high-crime areas. As the price of meat continues to go higher, steaks will increasingly become desirable targets for professional looters.
