In apparent appreciation for the tasty hazelnut cocoa spread, two parents’ tried to name their daughter Nutella.
But, a court in the French city of Valenciennes quickly said no.
French newspaper La Voix Du Nord reports the judge ruled that naming a child after a food would be against the child's interest.
The court decided that “wearing a name like that can only lead to teasing or disparaging thoughts.”
The parents later settled with the name Ella instead.
Earlier this year, two more French parents tried to name their kid ‘Strawberry’….but they were also shot down.
