After soaking up some sun at the pool, a Naples grandmother caused a serious crash with her grandson on board.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office says Patricia Ebel, 49, drove her BMW right into a car stopped at an intersection.
Then, WINK-TV in Fort Myers caught the grandmother undergoing a field sobriety test in her bikini.
Not only did Ebel fail the test, but deputies also noticed a strong smell of alcohol on her body.
She is facing DUI charges for driving with a 0.15 or higher blood alcohol content with a child in the vehicle.
The driver of the other car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
