Florida Atlantic has fired head football coach Tom Herman, according to multiple reports.
Herman was in his second season as FAU's head coach and compiled a 6-16 record. The Owls are 2-8 this season and have remaining games on their schedule against Charlotte and Tulsa. FAU has lost six straight games, including an overtime defeat to Temple on Saturday.
