The most-hated fast food chain in America is Burger King, except in Florida

An informal study by The Daring Kitchen blog using negative geotagged tweets from Twitter shows that Burger King is the most hated fast-food chain in the U.S., followed by McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, while KFC and Arby’s tied in fourth place for most-hated fast food.

In Florida, more respondents picked Arby’s as the ‘most-hated’ fast food restaurant.

The state breakdown:

  • Burger King - 15 states
  • McDonald’s - 11 states
  • Taco Bell - 9 states
  • Wendy’s - 5 states
  • Arby’s - 4 states
  • KFC - 4 states
  • Jack In The Box - 1 state
  • White Castle - 1 state
