Orlando, Fla — Publix grocery store officials may be eyeing a spot for one of their new GreenWise Markets on Church Street in downtown Orlando.
The Orlando Business Journal reports that Lakeland based company is considering the 15,000 square foot Ferg's Depot located at 78 West Church.
They believe the new store would be a smaller version of a traditional Publix Supermarket which can be found about a mile away.
It is expected to a GreenWise Market, similar to one that opened in Tallahassee last year.
According to their website a GreenWise Market features a large variety of organic, specialty and traditional grocery store items.
It also features a beverage bar and fresh food like pizza and sandwich’s.
A quick check of locations shows nine more stores in the works, but it does not show one being planed for Orlando - but we can always hope!
