The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is being sued by the family of a girl once charged with bullying a 12-year-old girl who committed suicide.
The lawsuit claims the Sheriff’s Office wrongly arrested 14-year-old Katelyn Roman last year after Rebecca Sedwick jumped to her death in Lakeland.
The lawsuit also said Roman should not have been charged with felony stalking.
