Orlando, Fla — The doors of the iconic Orlando Beefy King restaurant will be closed Tuesday, after a fire caused minor damage overnight.
The family owned restaurant, located at 424 N. Bumby Avenue, is known for its Roast Beef sandwiches.
Orlando firefighters say it caught fire about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Crews say damage to the building is "fixable” and the owners say they will reopen but are unsure how long repairs will take.
A district fire chief estimated that the restaurant could open back up in about a week.
Firefighters said it's too soon to know what may have caused the fire or where it started.
Arson investigators are on the scene.
