Orange County Dr. Raul Pino is back on the job

Orlando, Fla. — Dr. Raul Pino is once again on the job as head of the Florida Department of Health on Friday. The Florida Department of Health confirms his return following an investigation from the inspector general.

Pino had been on leave for over a month after an email was sent by him to other staff members regarding the data from vaccinations. In the email sent, Pino stated “I am sorry, but at this point in the absence of reasonable and real reasons, it is irresponsible not to be vaccinated.”

FDOH did not release the results of the inspector general’s investigation, but simply confirmed that Pino is indeed back on the job.
