A teenage couple, accused of plotting to kill the girl's parents, stood before a Marion County judge Tuesday.
13-year-old Yaquelin Galvez-Don and 15-year-old Pedro Solis were both shackled in court as their attorneys argued unsuccessfully for their bond.
Galvez-Don also learned she'll be tried as an adult, after jailhouse guards learned she planned to escape before Tuesday's courtroom appearance.
Both teens are charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and one count of attempted second degree murder.
