Kissimmee, Fla. — The Kissimmee police department says a BB gun was found in a student’s backpack at Osceola High School Friday morning.
They say the call came in at 11:27 a.m. about a student on campus with a gun. Deputy Chief Betty Holland says officers were able to review surveillance video and find the student who allegedly had the weapon which turned out to be the BB gun.
The student was taken into custody and after a search, no other threats or injured of any kind were reported.
Since then, the school has been placed on lockdown.
