FLPD releases video of Brad Parscale arrest

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Police have released bodycam video from Sunday’s arrest of Brad Parscale, President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager.

Parscale’s wife called police to their home after she says her husband was “acting crazy:”

“He like, came out of his office, cocked a gun, and went back -- I said okay, this is f*cked up,” Parscale’s wife told police.

“I saw him like look out the window and then I heard a loud boom."

One officer managed to get Parscale on the phone and coax him out into the street before other officers moved in to arrest him.

One of Parscale’s former constituents spoke well about him to the Washington Post following the incident:

“Brad Parscale is a member of our family, and we love him,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said.

“We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible.”

Parscale has since been hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows anyone deemed to be a threat to themselves or others to be detained for 72 hours for psychiatric evaluation according to Police Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw.
