There's a new list out ranking each of the 50 states and Washington D.C. for healthcare.

WalletHub published its 2016 list for States with the Best & Worst Health Care.

Florida made the list at No. 38, which leaves some room for improvement.  WalletHub spokesperson Jill Gonzalez says Florida lags behind many other states for access to health care.

"Medicare and Medicaid have lower acceptance rates in Florida than most other states," said Gonzalez.

Looking closer at WalletHub's list, Florida ranks 30th for healthcare costs, 40th for healthcare access and 31st for health outcomes.
