Orlando, Fla. — Lots of people tend to fill up their garbage bans and recycle bins during and after the holidays. However, its important to know when your county will be picking up so its not just standing out there in your driveway or on the side of the curb.

For Seminole County, your collection will not be taken on Christmas Day. It will be on the next scheduled collection day. Real Christmas trees will be collected every Wednesday after the holiday through the end of January. However, trees that are taller than 8 feet must be cut in half.
