“I was always wanting to know what was the Treasure Truck because I come to Chipotle and see it in the parking lot all the time,” said one customer. “This is awesome.”
This man says his whole family is signed up to get notifications for Treasure Truck deals and they take turns picking up their loot.
“My roommate pinged us about the free toilet paper this morning before we even woke up. He said ‘go get it’!”
Customers were not only treated to free tushy wipe: the Amazon crew also set up a mini bowling alley (made from rolls of toilet paper of course) and a free candy bar.
Here’s how it works: Amazon workers choose one product a day to sell on the Treasure Truck at a discount. Those signed up for notifications will get a text alert, telling them about the deal and where the Treasure Truck will be so they can pick it up.
Past deals include gaming systems, headphones, steaks, and roses on Valentine’s Day at a significant discount.
