Some people just can’t take responsibility.
Investigators in Florida say an 82-year-old retiree busted for drunk driving after wrecking his golf cart early Thursday evening (July 30th) claimed Donald Trump drove him to drink.
Police say Cary De Van drove his red cart over a concrete curb, breaking its axle and dislodging the windshield.
He was not injured.
He reportedly told a responding officer he “was watching President Trump on TV then got really mad at what he said” and added that he’d started drinking vodka after listening to the president.
He was charged with driving under the influence.
