Florida man busted for drugs while playing Pokemon Go

Tampa, Fla — This episode of Florida Man features a  29-year-old from Tampa who was just playing Pokemon Go at the local park.

Unfortunately for him, the park was closed and deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office were able to make the final catch.

According to the HCSO Facebook post,  Deputy Eneida Rossia observed Jonathan Ortiz actively trying to catch a wild Pokemon and also observed drugs in plain site.

A search of the man’s vehicle yielded 3.5 grams of Cocaine, 5.5 pounds of THC Oil, and 1 pound of Marijuana.

The headline on the post on  the Sheriff’s Facebook page was “GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!”

The post went on to say  “(It) Looks like Deputy Rossi was the one that had more combat points and won the battle.”
