DeSantis signs bill to carry concealed guns without a permit in Florida

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed off on a bill that allows residents to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

The bill was signed on Monday without the public ceremony that DeSantis typically holds for new legislation.

DeSantis issued only a brief statement about the signing: “Constitutional Carry is in the books”.

Florida becomes the 26th U.S. state to pass a no-permit carry law. It goes into effect July 1st.
