Police ID teen shot to death in Longwood parking lot

LONGWOOD, Fla. — A 19-year-old was shot to death in Longwood Sunday night.

Longwood police responded to a parking lot at the intersection of Ronald Regan Blvd. and Evergreen Ave. just after 9 p.m. after a caller reported hearing gunshots.

Responding officers arrived to find the victim, Jameson Laguerre, 19, already deceased on scene.

Police said witnesses reported seeing Laguerre standing near his car in the parking lot when someone in a dark colored sedan pulled up and shot him.

Police have not released any additional information on a possible suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
