An Ohio woman says she found a nose ring in her McDonald’s Quarter Pounder meal.
The woman placed a mobile order from a McDonald’s restaurant in Riverside on June 17. Upon bringing the order home, she wiped excess mayonnaise off the side of her Quarter Pounder and noticed a nose ring fall out. The woman, who was with her boyfriend and niece in the home, then snapped photos of the nose ring before tossing the food out.
Despite calling the restaurant’s manager to report the incident, however, she did not receive a response or refund after more than a week. She had also reported the incident on the McDonald’s app.
The Dayton & Montgomery County’s office of environmental health conducted an inspection at the restaurant where the order was placed, and reportedly “didn’t find anything.”
All workers at the McDonald’s location received updated food preparation training following the incident.
