Fort Meyers Beach, Fla. — We’ve all see photos of interesting Walmart shoppers, but this guy was not only camera worthy, but seemed to be on a mission.
The relatively small alligator was caught on video strutting through the Walmart parking lot in Fort Meyers Beach.

Shoppers at Walmart ran into an alligator outside the store in Fort Myers Beach this afternoon. A viewer who was on scene captured footage of the gator roaming in the parking lot before authorities arrived.

WFTX Fox4 reports that when authorities arrived they managed to wrangle the gator into a shopping cart.

But don't get this one confused with the alligator spotted near a Walmart in Gulfport, Mississippi that was chased by the Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania with a shopping cart.
It almost jumped inside the car where his wife and kids were watching, on May 22.
The video was posted on Angela Papania's Facebook page (app users click here) with the caption " the perils of being married to a cop who thinks he can catch an alligator with a shopping cart."
