A UPS worker whose racist rant was caught on camera last month has been fired.
Last month, the driver was delivering a package to a Latino household in Milwaukee. He appears to write a ‘failed delivery attempt’ notice without first ringing the doorbell or knocking.
He’s also heard muttering “Now you don’t get ****ing nothing cause you’re a stupid (slur) who can’t read and write and speak the ****ing English language.”
The whole episode was caught on the man’s Ring doorbell camera. Now, UPS has fired the unnamed driver, saying “There is no place in any community for racism, bigotry or hate.”
The company has also promised to “make amends with the Latino community”.
