SEATTLE — A brush fire that was caused by fireworks spread to an apartment building in west Seattle, causing more than $100,000 in damage Saturday, investigators said.
First responders were called before 6 p.m. to find shrubberies and the floor of an apartment building on fire.

Fireworks are prohibited in the City of Seattle, and can have unintended consequences. We have already seen one major apartment fire caused by fireworks tonight. Injuries and fires caused by fireworks ARE PREVENTABLE. #staysafe
Crews put out the fire and ruled it an accident, confirming fireworks were the cause, officials said.
No one was injured.
Officials said the fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
