An attorney for Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl claims he will face desertion charges after leaving his post in Afghanistan six years ago.
The Washington Post reports Bergdahl was handed a charge sheet yesterday.
U.S. Army Forces Command will hold a press conference, discussing the “next planned steps” this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
Bergdahl was held by the Taliban for five years before being released in a prisoner exchange.
