Marvel Studios and Disney are pushing back the premiere of the highly-anticipated movie Black Widow to July 9 when it will come out in theaters and Disney Plus streaming. Disney is also doing the same for the release of the Cruella movie.

Black Widow was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2020. Then that was changed to a theatrical only release on May 7, 2021. On July 9 the movie will come out in theaters and on the Disney+ streaming app. Subscribers to the app pay an addition $30 “Premiere Access” fee to stream the new movie at home.
Cruella starring Emma Stone will debut on May 28 in a similar fashion. The movie will be in theaters and on Disney+ for the additional $30 Premiere Access fee.
The upcoming Pixar movie Luca is skipping the U.S. theatrical release entirely and will exclusively be available to stream on Disney+ on June 18.
