Woman is found stabbed to death in Orlando home

Orlando police are investigating a fatal stabbing after a women was found dead  inside a home Friday afternoon.

Police said around 3:20 p.m. they responded to a disturbance call in the 4000 block of Boston Common on Fremont Park Avenue.

The home is just north of West Colonial Drive near Mercy Drive.

The victim, a female in her early 40's, had suffered stab wounds and was found non-responsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police tell us there were no obvious signs of forced entry into the home.

At this time, the identity of the victim is not available pending next of kin notifications.
