Authorities are still working to identify the body of woman discovered by a witness around 2:30 p.m. on Old Winter Garden Road near Ferguson Drive.
Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lourdes Clayton told us, "When deputies got here, what they found was what appears to be a female who is at the edge of the woods. Her body is not intact."
Deputies shut down the intersection and part of Old Winter Garden Road was blocked in both directions at North Cottage Hill Road at around 4 p.m. The road was later reopened but deputies remained on the scene.
