The company that provides many cities with those pesky red light camera’s shared a video with the top ten red-light runner crashes of 2020.

Number four was in Orlando and two others took place in Orange County!

Verra Mobility and six other national companies that provide red-light camera monitoring systems to local governments shared the video along with the message the “Please, stop on red.”

The Arizona-based smart transportation company noted that despite fewer drivers on the road due to the pandemic, the footage shows a continued disregard for obeying traffic signals, resulting in deadly crashes.

Keep in mind Florida Rep. Anthony Sabatini, R- Howey-in-the-Hills, said he will file another bill in the 2021 legislative session that would ban the use of red-light cameras.

The effort to ban red-light cameras in the state has failed several times in recent years.
