The tremendous plume of dust rolled across 100 miles of the Texas Panhandle Tuesday night.
Incredible pictures are emerging of this gigantic dirt storm, that looked like a massive, gray tidal wave taking over the horizon.
A local forecaster said the winds flung dust 2,000 feet into the air before dissipating.
The National Weather Service said the cold front that moved through Tuesday night had winds up to 60 mph.
The dirt it had picked up was from Colorado and Kansas.
