VIDEO: Orlando commuter train crashes into car as driver barely escapes

The Florida Department of Transportation has released the video of the Sunrail train smashing into a car in Maitland and narrowly missing the driver.

The new video shows 28-year-old  Kristen Taylor escaping her car with just seconds to spare as the Sunrail came barreling down the tracks. Taylor says her Infiniti stalled on the tracks on Monday on Packwood Avenue near Maitland Avenue and couldn't get it started again. 

She was struck by debris as her car got smashed by the train, which slowed down and stopped after the accident. Taylor says she just got a car a short time ago and hadn't even made her first payment yet.

FDOT says they want to educate drivers about safety at train crossings.
