Orlando, Fla. — Orlando police say a man fired an AR-15 style rifle in downtown Orlando early Thursday morning. They say around 3 a.m. 26 year old Ryan Sarjoo shot the gun near South Orange Avenue and East Pine Street.
The arrest report says Sarjoo got into an argument with another man and that's when he grabbed the rifle and shot it into the air before placing it in a BMW and loading a Glock handgun. It also states that Sarjoo was unaware of his wrongdoing since people wanted to fight him.
Police say Sarjoo was arrested on charges of openly carrying a firearm, but additional charges are also being filed with the state attorney's office. No injuries were reported during the incident.
