SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — A Texas man seen in a viral video taking a teenager's 'Make America Great Again' hat and assaulting him has been arrested, according to MySanAntonio.com.

Kino Jimenez, 30, was taken into custody for theft of person. He has also reportedly been fired from his part-time job as a bartender.

In a now viral video, Jimenez is seen grabbing the hat off 16-year-old Hunter Richard’s head and throwing a drink on him as he and his friend are eating at a Whataburger restaurant.

“You ain’t supportin’ s--t, n----,” the man said while taking off with the hat. “This is gonna go great in my f***ing fireplace.”

Hunter tells WOAI that some of his hair was ripped out as Jimenez pulled the hat off his head.

"I support my President and, if you don’t, let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off,” he told the station. “I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me.”

The video was posted to Facebook asking for the public’s help to identify him.

In an interesting twist, some people started a GoFundMe account for Jimenez, saying he's a victim "of a witch hunt."

"His rash retaliation towards a couple of teenage boys was unnecessary and they DO deserve an apology, but currently right-wingers have opted for an unethical approach to the viral video," read the GoFundMe account which was started on behalf of Jimenez and hoping to raise $85,000.

The campaign was quickly deleted.
