Tennessee holiday attraction offers zombie Santa, undead elves for charity

Zombie Santa

What do you get when you combine Santa Claus with The Walking Dead? A Santa-pocalypse!

The Death Yard Haunted Attraction is hoping to turn visitors holiday cheer into holiday fear with a Christmas-themed haunted house, complete with an ax-wielding Santa and his undead elf army.

For $10 and an unwrapped new toy, visitors can go through the 13,000-square-foot home that's filled with evil Santa, chainsaw-loving maniacs and killer clowns. Oh, and don't forget a demonic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer who is out for revenge on those that laughed and called him names. If you pay an extra $5, you can go to the paintball range and take shots at Zombie Santa and his pals.

"You can unload on the undead," says Carroll Moore, who runs the twisted attraction. "Maybe Santa Claus wasn't good to you last year."

Moore says it's all in the name of fun and charity though. All of the toy donations go to the Last Minute Toy Store, a charity that provides gifts to children whose parents may not be able to afford presents for Christmas.
