Orlando, Fla. — SpaceX is delaying its planned return of the Dragon capsule to Earth.

Officials called off the undocking from the International Space Station due to poor weather conditions expected during splashdown Monday night.

Potential landing zones are located off the coasts of Cape Canaveral, Daytona and Jacksonville.

Officials are now reviewing weather forecasts for the next opportunity to land the capsule in the Atlantic Ocean.

Once the capsule departs from the International Space Station, it will take about 12 hours to reach the targeted landing zone.
