ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — A man was shot in the arm while driving his SUV in Altamonte Springs in what police say appears to be a road rage shooting.
It happened on Thursday shortly before 1 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 436 and Westmonte Drive.
The driver was the only person in the car and was hit in the bicep and has non life-threatening injuries.
Officer Evelyn Estevez says the suspect was driving a black four-door vehicle with tinted windows.
“There wasn’t a verbal altercation that happened at the light,” she said, though police still believe it appears to be road rage.
