Police tonight said a security guard at an Orlando apartment complex shot a woman in the arm after she struck him with her car.
According to police, the security guard at the Windsor Cove Apartments on Mercy Drive attempted to stop the woman as she got into her car and drove away.
Witnesses told police the guard stepped in front of the car and he was struck.
That’s when he reportedly opened fire and shot the woman in the arm.
She was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital.
The security guard also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Police said they are still investigating what possible charges they might file in this case.
