Scuba diver dies after accident at Blue Springs Park

A man died Wednesday afternoon following a scuba diving accident at Blue Springs park in Orange City.

Authorities say 36 year old Samuel Slack was taken to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, where he was pronounced dead.

His diving partner was also taken to Florida Hospital Orlando. No word yet on his condition.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death but we’re told no foul play is suspected.
