Poll: Majority of Florida voters support medical marijuana

According to a new poll, Florida voters overwhelmingly support legalizing medical marijuana.

Quinnipiac University tells News 96.5 that close to nine out of ten Floridia voters support legalizing medical marijuana, and while younger voters are obviously more supportive of the inititiative, Florida seniors also think it should be legal.

Eighty three-percent of respondents over the age of 65 support legallizing weed for medicinal purposes, while 95-percent of people between the ages of 18 and 29 support it.

A majority of young voters also support legalizing recreational marijuana.

Florida voters will decide the issue of medical marijuana in November.
