DAYTONA BEACH, FL — A 51-year old Ormond Beach man is dead after being hit by a pickup truck in a hit and run accident in Daytona Beach on Sunday.
Jeffrey Martin was driving his motorcycle at 5:15 p.m., when he was hit by a 2004 Ford pickup truck on on San Jose Boulevard and 13th Street.
Troopers said, the driver ran a stop sign, hitting Martin.
The driver of the pickup truck is described as a man wearing a red hat, white tank top and jean shorts. He apparently got out of his truck and called someone.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police. An investigation is ongoing.
