It has been four months since Zachery Tims, the pastor at New Destiny Christian Church, was found dead in a New York City hotel room, and now his cause of death may be released as early as today.
Tims' family has been fighting to keep the cause of death from being released to the public, but a New York judge disagreed. "There's no reason not to release autopsy and toxicology reports”, that according to Manhattan State Supreme Court Judge Cynthia S. Kern.
Policed ruled out foul play early in the investigation but published reports said officials found a packet of powder in his pocket. Tims had a history of problems as a result of a drug addiction.
The Minister's family filed a suit trying to block the reports saying the cause of death would be embarrassing to the family and the church congregation.
The reports are schedule to be released sometime this week.
