Park hopping at Disney World is back, but with changes

Orlando, Fla. — Guests who are visiting the theme parks at Walt Disney World can now visit more than one park in a day again. Initially due to the pandemic, guests were only allowed to book a reservation for one park a day, but with the start of the new year and a relatively large loss of revenue in 2020, the company is hoping to get right back on its feet.

However, things are not quite back to normal just yet. Here is what you need if you plan to park hop:

- You must have a park hopper ticket or an annual pass with the option to park hop.

- You have to make a reservation for the first park that you want to go to before attempting to park hop.

- Around 2 p.m., Disney says it then plans to allow people to begin park hopping. You do not need a reservation for the park you are hopping to, but you will not be able to go there if the park reaches capacity.
