ORLANDO, Fla. -- The East Spa & Massage in Winter Park and Rainbow Spa in Orlando are closed and two women arrested after a statewide investigation found they were involved in human-trafficking.

Police say Lan Yun Ma, 49, was responsible for the day-to-day operations at a parlor also called East Spa in Indian River County.

Ma was seen purchasing food, water and condoms for the Vero Beach parlor. Inside the business, detectives installed surveillance cameras in November and saw more than 140 sex acts performed in exchange for money, according to court documents.

Investigators said Ma drove women to and from the spa “for the purpose of sexual servitude” and didn't let them leave.

Ma faces charges of deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, engaging in prostitution and racketeering. Another worker, 27-year-old

Yaping Ren was arrested.

The cases are part of a multi-agency operation targeting sex trafficking, the same that caught billionaire Robert Kraft, who faces two counts of soliciting prostitution in south Florida.
