Orlando, Fla. — The Orlando Future Starz, girls basketball team is working to raise money for a trip to the nationals.
The fifth graders are hoping to represent the state of Florida at the AAU nationals in Gatlinburg Tennessee, July 9 thru July 15 .
Future Staz coach Victor Rodriguez, whose daughter Victoria plays on the team, tells News 96.5 WDBO, "we are scheduled to leave on July 6th God willing , we are still short in our goal so we are looking for Donations or sponsors that are willing to help offset the cost for the girls".
