Orange County Sheriff John Mina reached out to voters via twitter this morning with an election day message on safety.
Sheriff Mina said his office is committed to keeping everyone safe and that at this time they do not anticipate any problems.
He also said the Supervisor of Elections has hired an off-duty deputy to work at the main office so that any issue can immediately be addressed.
The Sheriff said if anyone needs assistance they should call 911.
