Orange County's 10 new red light cameras are up and running Monday morning.
If you're caught on camera running a red light, it means a $158 fine.
Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs says it's not all about making money for the county.
"The goal here is to make our streets safe and our intersections safe," said Jacobs.
In the two-week test period, the 10 red light cameras have caught thousands of red light runners. That would have brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
"I also want to take any revenues that we generate and pour them back into (the) safety enhancement program," said Jacobs.
If you're caught running a red light at one of these intersections, that $158 fine will arrive in the mail shortly.
The cameras are in place at the following intersections:
Northbound John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway,
Northbound Dean Road at University Boulevard,
Westbound Lake Underhill Road at Dean Road,
Eastbound Oak Ridge Road at Texas Avenue,
Northbound Hiawassee Road at Clarcona Ocoee Road,
Northbound Hiawassee Road at Old Winter Garden Road,
Eastbound Oak Ridge Road at John Young Parkway,
Northbound Alafaya Trail at Lake Underhill Road,
Eastbound University Boulevard at Rouse Road and
Southbound Chickasaw Trial at Lake Underhill Road.
