Lake Buena Vista, Fla. — A man has filed a lawsuit against Walt Disney World after claiming that he suffered medical problems that came from a rat bite.

The lawsuit, filed in Orange County on March 19th by 59 year old Galen Haldeman, says he was bit at a merchandise store after riding Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin back in April of 2014.

According to the lawsuit, he was pushing his wife in a wheelchair around the store when the rat jumped up and moved towards her arm. It also states that as he grabbed the rat to throw it off the chair, it managed to bite one of his fingers. Afterwards, Galen reportedly twisted the rat's neck, and it fell onto the floor where someone put a plastic container over it.

A Disney employee reportedly asked nearby onlookers not to take any pictures.

The couple is seeking over 15,000 dollars in damages.
