Orange County deputies are searching for suspects after an early Monday morning shooting that left one dead at a nightclub.
The victim, Chico Randolph, was shot twice and trampled by those trying to rush out the club.
“The victim was actually trying to leave the club, trying to break up the altercation” Chris Dillon, a homicide investigator, told WDBO.
Deputies said the victim was in his late 20s.
Investigators believe the club was over capacity and a lot of pushing and shoving took place inside before the shooting.
This is the second homicide at this club in six months. There was security in place including metal detectors and wands to help detect firearms.
The suspects are described as 4 black males and female of Jamaican decent.
